    New Release Friday
    New Release friday is back
Happy reading. I haven’t done new release Friday in a while – life got crazy – but I have several author friends, some who I know online, some whom I’ve worked within series and others I just like to read to share with you this week.

Rissa's Rebel Heart - CoverRissa’s Rebel Heart (The Sweethearts of Country Music Book 1)
When six musicians come together to form an all-girl country band, The Sweethearts of Country Music are born. But can they balance their musical worlds with their personal lives?

Rissa Walker dreams of making it big in country music, but after seven years in Music City—and with very little success to show for it—she’s beginning to lose hope. When she’s offered the chance to join an all-girl country band, Rissa finds herself surrounded by five of the most talented musicians in Nashville, a tough-talking manager with a heart of gold, and her manager’s son. A son who happens to be a handsome single father whose kiss leaves her weak in the knees.

Jake McCann grew up in the business, so he knows a thing or two about country music. When he hears Rissa perform at a wedding reception, he thinks she’d be the perfect addition to the all-girl country band his mom hopes to bring to Nashville. What he doesn’t know is just how hard he’ll fall for the beautiful songwriter. And he really doesn’t know how he’s going to live without her when she and the band go on tour.

With a hectic tour schedule, and hundreds of miles of highway between them, can Rissa and Jake’s relationship stay in tune? Or, will Rissa have to choose between her music and her heart?

The Sweethearts of Country Music series includes six books by six different authors. Each novel features a member of the band as she struggles to balance music and love. get it here

    Happily Ever Hers - Cover
Happily Ever Hers: A fake relationship/movie star/ex-military hero romantic comedy! (Movie Stars in Maryland Book 2)

Juliet Manchester is America’s best-loved movie starlet. But when a nasty divorce and a sex-tape scandal threaten to tarnish her spotless good-girl reputation, she turns to co-star Ryan McDonnell to help distract the media with a passionate (and completely fake) new romance. The only problem? They’re both in love with other people.
Going home for Gran’s 90th in Maryland was something I normally would’ve been looking forward to. But the timing is terrible. My ex is dragging me through a media scandal (even though he’s the one who cheated. Spectacularly. On the kitchen island. With my personal chef), and if I had my way, I’d stay out of the spotlight entirely.
But America’s Sweetheart has to be okay, and my agent is positive the best way to convince America that I’m not in the midst of a breakdown is to date my latest co-star.
    He’s hot. He’s sweet. And he’s willing.
But he’s not the man I’m in love with.
The former Marine bodyguard who’s been stationed inside my house by the private security firm I employ is nothing like a movie star. He’s rough around the edges, from the wrong side of the tracks… and one-hundred percent exactly my type.
But the two of us together? Could cost us both our jobs.
I just need to remember that Jace Morgan is here to protect me. Not to love me.
But when he comes along to Maryland? Lines get crossed, and I’m not talking about the Mason-Dixon, y’all.
Happily Ever Hers is a full-length laugh-out-loud romcom with narcoleptic pugs, cursing Grans who drink too many Manhattans, and a stoic ex-military hero who just might break your heart. (Standalone and no cliffhanger!) Get it here

Love in Charge - CoverLove in Charge: Powerful Women, Powerful Love Kindle Edition
When this woman steps into a room, heads turn and people listen. Whether she’s commanding a new business venture, coaching a collegiate football team, or diagnosing and healing people, she’s focused, influential, and passionate, and she’s not about to apologize for it.
But there is loneliness and fears that she can’t ignore, and questions soon follow. Is a second chance meant to be when the first was a disaster? Is her distrust of all men warranted when only one has truly ever hurt her? Can she set aside an age difference to find love?
Most of all… when a man who is everything she’s never realized she wanted is right in front of her, will she be ready for the biggest undertaking of her life?
Lose yourself in these three novellas of powerful women learning that sometimes love is the one in charge.

No More Bad Dates - CoverNo More Bad Dates: A romantic comedy of love, friendship… and tea (High Tea Book 1) (Cozy Cottage Café 5)
Three friends form the No More Bad Dates Pact: stop dating the wrong guys and start dating the right ones – weirdos and jerks need not apply.

Twenty-five-year-old Sophie McCarthy’s career is virtually nonexistent, her family expects her to “do something important” with her life, and she’s totally sick of dating the wrong guys: the self-absorbed, the arrogant, the borderline criminally insane.

After she’s unceremoniously dumped during the vows at her boss’s wedding, she and her two equally disappointed-in-love best friends agree to help each other find decent guys to date. Together, they form the No More Bad Dates Pact: stop dating the wrong guys and start dating the right ones–weirdos and jerks need not apply.

When Sophie’s roommate Jason Christie–a.k.a. doctor-in-training and serial nurse-dater–joins the pact, he vows to weed out the bad ones for her. But with his rejection of every guy Sophie meets, she begins to wonder if he’s got an ulterior motive. And anyway, why does she always have so much more fun with Jason than with the guys she’s actually trying to date?

While desperately seeking her “happy for now,” could Sophie stumble into her “happily ever after?”

High Tea is a spin-off of Kate O’Keeffe’s bestselling Cozy Cottage Café series. Escape to New Zealand in this fun, feel-good chick lit series! Get it here

Chasing a Starr – Delancey Stewart
    Chasing a Starr - Cover
When a city girl comes up against a cowboy, some dust is bound to fly…

Reine Halverson was 100% city girl – shiny, polished, and put together. A branding specialist for a huge San Francisco firm, she’d built herself from the ground up, covering her country roots with the gleam and glamour of city life.

She might’ve been from somewhere else, but the city was her salvation. That life was behind her.

Will Starr was a cowboy, through and through. His mother had tried to make him something else, but a combat tour in Afghanistan has a way of making a man see what he’s made of. And Will knew he was made up of Northern California grapevines, a hundred-year old farmhouse, and cattle land that had been in his family for generations.

When Reine arrives at Starr Ranch Winery as part of the big city firm’s investment deal set up to save the family land, Will’s convinced she’s the last thing any of them need. But when she starts to find her way beneath his carefully built armor, he realizes there’s more at stake than the business.

Reine might just walk away with what little remains of his heart.
